Alexander Heinz, PhD

Alexander Heinz is currently chair of the Summer Executive at King’s College in London, England. He has been building King’s large education portfolio of cutting-edge, diverse academic summer education opportunities from their early beginnings in London and overseas. He is a thought leader in realizing the creative potential of short courses and has forged key national and international collaborations with higher education institutions and high-profile cultural and political organizations to enrich the student experience. A regular speaker and trainer at international conferences, he is particularly familiar with higher education collaborations with the public sector in the United Kingdom and India. Alexander has a PhD in history and is a former scholar of the German National Merit Foundation and the DAAD. He has lived and studied in France, Germany and the UK. Alexander is EAIE (European Association for International Education) Chair of the Expert Community Summer Schools and a member of the NAFSA Trainer Corps.
