Leslie Garrison

Leslie Garrison has been working in higher education administration since pursuing a second BA at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. She is currently pursuing a MA in Higher Education Administration at George Mason University. Her interest in International Education began as a volunteer with the Youth for Understanding organization, when she was as an orientation coordinator for international exchange students. Her interests in international education are compliance, study abroad risk management, and consular affairs. As an International Education advocate, Leslie also has a strong interest in encouraging underrepresented students to study abroad.  She is excited to serve as the 2023 Conference Planner for Region VIII.
