Two of the workshops will be held virtually, and fifteen of the workshops will be held in-person in Denver, CO, USA. Developing a Global Zone Training Program  SOLD OUT

This interactive training promotes cultural awareness, advocacy, and support for fostering a welcoming and inclusive campus environment for students from all cultural backgrounds. Modeled after Safe Zone training, participants experience a Global Zone training first-hand and receive the tools and resources to start Global Zone training at their own institutions.

Filing Academic H-1B Petitions

Filing academic H-1B petitions requires coordination among the prospective employee, the hiring department, and government agencies. Participants prepare a sample H-1B petition and gather and examine sources of information, reference sources of authority, determine the wage, prepare forms for submission, and build an inspection file.

Supporting Mental Health in Education Abroad

Education abroad professionals practice recognizing students experiencing mental health concerns and responding with empathy.
