Ramona Kirsch has over 20 years of experience in internationalizing curriculum and campuses, engaging students, and promoting mobility on a global scale. Kirsch has lived, worked and studied abroad and has traveled to over 40 countries, honing proficiency in leading diverse groups and educational delegations abroad as well as moderating panels/presenting at international conferences around the world, including at NAFSA. Her educational background includes an EdD in educational leadership and management, an MA in history and a BA in letters (history, philosophy, literature and languages). Kirsch has also received three Fulbright awards and has worked in institutions of higher education in California, Florida, and Missouri as well as NGOs serving international students. Kirsch arrived at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia in September 2019 where she is currently serving as director of international programs and principle designated school official. Kirsch also plays competitive USTA tennis, is a life-long yoga practitioner, and loves to hike, sing, and above all, explore.
