This Summer, the NAFSA Region X State Conferences will look a bit different. Region X will be hosting various regionally focused networking events, both virtual and in-person.

How do you understand diversity and leadership? What support networks exist within your institution? In what ways do you create a sense of belonging in your community? Drawing from the NAFSA column "Cultivating a More Diverse Leadership," we invite you to share your thoughts, challenges, and opportunities you face within your areas of community.
We will be drawing from the International Educator article "Cultivating a More Diverse Leadership."
Downstate NY/NJ Meeting: August 3rd, 12PM - 5PM at NYU!
Join us for the NAFSA Region X Downstate NY/NJ Summer State Meeting to hear updates from the region, and connect/re-connect with colleagues and friends! Meet us in New York City on August 3rd from 12PM - 5PM at NYU. Lunch will be provided (sponsored by NYU!) and Happy Hour will follow!
More details of the day will follow soon. Please note, there is *no cost* to register for this meeting, but we ask that you RSVP so we can get a headcount for lunch.
